Sharing Terms

1. What these terms cover

These terms cover the "share as a link" feature of the Sharepiece app — sending a puzzle as a link and opening a link sent to you. The service is provided by Muhammed Taha İkiz ("we").

Use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms are additional terms that apply only to the sharing feature.

How personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.

2. Who may share

• Only adults aged 18 or over may use the sharing feature.
• You can switch the feature off entirely in Settings → Sharing; while it's off, the app never connects to the internet.

3. How it works

• The photo is end-to-end encrypted on your device and only the encrypted version is uploaded to our server. The key to open it is in the link and is never sent to us.
• Anyone who has the link can open the puzzle. You are responsible for who you share the link with, so send it only to people you trust.
• The encrypted package is deleted automatically after 30 days at most. You can delete it sooner in Settings → Sharing → My Shared Puzzles; a deleted link no longer opens.
• Once the recipient has added the puzzle to their device, we have no control over the copy on their device.
• A share can be at most 3 MB. To prevent abuse, the number of shares within a short time is limited.

4. Content rules

Sharing any of the following is strictly prohibited. We remove shares that break these rules without notice:

• Photos you don't have the right to share (someone else's photos or copyrighted content).
• Photos of other people — especially children — taken or shared without their or their guardian's permission; content that violates anyone's privacy.
• Nudity or sexual content; any content related to the abuse of children.
• Content that is frightening, disturbing, offensive, degrading, hateful or discriminatory, particularly for children.
• Photos showing sensitive personal data such as identity documents, addresses or health information.
• Illegal content, or shares made to harass, threaten or spam someone.
• Using the feature to carry anything other than a photo or to mislead the system.

We do not just remove content related to child abuse; we report it to the competent authorities as the law requires.

5. Reporting, blocking and removal

• You can report a puzzle sent to you from within the app. Reporting closes the link immediately; nobody can open the puzzle any more.
• When reporting you may also send the puzzle's key; in that case we see the picture only to review it. If you don't send the key we cannot see the content, but the link still closes.
• We aim to review reports within 24 hours. Content found to break the rules is permanently deleted.
• You can block a sender. Blocking applies only on your device; links from that sender will not open.
• If Apple's Sensitive Content Warning or Communication Safety is on for your device, pictures that may contain nudity are detected on the device and are neither shared nor opened.

6. Nature of the service

• The sharing feature is free. Sending a puzzle doesn't count toward the daily puzzle allowance; starting a puzzle sent to you draws on the same daily allowance as making one (3 a day in the free version).
• We make every effort to run the service without interruption or errors, but we can't guarantee it. The service may pause temporarily for maintenance, technical faults or abuse.
• We may change or discontinue the feature; we announce significant changes in the app and on this page.

7. Responsibility

• You are responsible for the content you share and for who you send the link to.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from content shared by others or from the spread of a link through channels you control. Our liability for intent and gross negligence, and your rights under consumer law, are not affected.

8. Withdrawing consent and termination

• You can withdraw the explicit consent you gave for sharing at any time in Settings → Sharing; the shares made from that device are then deleted from the server.
• We may remove shares that violate these terms.

9. Changes

• We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its version number and date at the top.
• For a significant change, the app asks for your consent again the next time you share.

10. Governing law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
• As a consumer, your right to turn to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where you live is not affected. If you live in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country also apply.
